What inspired this blog?

We all run for different reasons but they all bring us to the same starting line.  We make the time to train and push our minds and bodies to the limit...but what about self care?  In the end, we can only grow stronger, better, faster if we treat our bodies and minds with the respect they deserve.  Health is power.  That is my why - that is what motivates me - that is what drives me every damn day! #raceandrecover

I am so grateful to be a runner. Running has shaped who I am today and has brought so many incredible people into my life.    

I ran my first half marathon in January 2010 and the rest is history.  Since then I have completed 100+ races - with 62 half marathons and 16 marathons to date.

Running is my passion.  It fuels me.  It inspires me.  It challenges me.  Running is a gift - one that I will never take for granted.
