Training with the exact Gatorade Endurance products (and flavors) on the course for the NYC Marathon + Philadelphia Marathon was such an incredible opportunity. I have never put this much thought in nutrition leading up to race day, but that has now changed after this training cycle.
In the past, I never knew what to expect come race day morning or mid race...especially for a marathon. 26.2 miles is a physical and emotional journey and is not for the faint of heart. A huge part of it is mind over matter, but I have now learned that you can be in control of your tummy. :)
Training with the nutrition on the course has proven to be a huge success. For both marathons I didn't have any issues with race day nutrition and felt good the entire time!
I strongly recommend this to all of my running friends and will continue to make this a part of my marathon training plan!
